The WFPSA was established in 1999 to provide a range of quality sporting, academic and cultural events for Year 7 and 8 students from the full primary schools of the Waikato, King Country and Bay of Plenty. it is based upon the principles below
VISION |
BENEFITS |
EXPECTATIONS |
SUPPORT |
To provide quality events (sporting / academic / cultural) for Year 7 & 8 students each year so they can interact / compete with their peers on a regional level. To promote and maintain a Full Primary School's Association as a valued organisation that is well supported by schools, school leaders, teachers / students and parents. |
As the organisation continues to grow as a valuable group of collaborative schools, Year 7 & 8 students who attend those schools will continue to have access to opportunities that they would otherwise not have. Each year schools will need to subscribe to the organisation to ensure its survival and effectiveness so that the various events are available now and in the future |
Where possible, get involved in organising events that will benefit our Year 7 & 8 students. We appreciate that this can be difficult for our smaller members but it is really important that we don't leave things up to one or two schools. If you enter students in events, it may be necessary for you to provide people to help out on the day performing certain duties that are essential to an events success.

The WFPSA is a voluntary association and collaboration and support are critical to its success. Please try and get a representative from your school along to WFPSA meetings as it is important that your voice is heard and ideas are represented. |
